History for Lunch: Changes that Brought About Today’s Modern Pork Production in North Carolina

Join us on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 12:15 p.m. for a 2nd History for Lunch this month. Jack Parker, retired North Carolina Extension Livestock Specialist, will share stories of change in pork production as a Livestock Specialist in North Carolina.  Mr. Parker will begin his talk with the Civil War and the role of pork and then start with park production in the 1950s and the changes that have occurred in 70 years.

This program is free and open to the public; you're welcome to bring a lunch. No prior reservation required.
