Lee Holder, regional director of the North Carolina Holocaust Council's program planning committee and the eastern North Carolina coordinator for traveling exhibits, will tell the story of Gizella Abramson through her eyes. Ms. Abramson moved to Raleigh in 1973 and was a co-founder of the North Carolina Council on the Holocaust. The newly mandated North Carolina Holocaust education law, the Gizella Abramson Education Act, is named after her.
